My Favorite Things Color Challenge #74

It is time for the new MFT Color Challenge #74. Remember, you don’t have to have the EXACT colors to play – just use colors inspired by the ones you see below. But challenge yourself to incorporate all four of the colors.

MFT All Smiles Card Kit Release Day

The new MFT Card Kit All Smiles is available for purchase in the MFT store now!!!!

But,  before you go, I have one more project to share with you using new Products from the KIT.

 

Card Kit Release

First I stamped flowers and leaves with light Premium Dye ink Insulation Pink. After that I colored with Zig markers and Die-cut with matching dies. I also die-cut Big Word Smile from the same Kit. For my  card base I used White card stock and patterned paper from the Tiny Hearts paper pack. I also added a shorter panel on the top. That panel I cut with Fringed Scallop Borders Die-namics from the July release. The panel is raised with mounting tape. Then I added flowers, leaves and Big Smile on the top. On the end small details like Nuvo crystal drops and Wink of Stella and my card is finished.

As I mentioned yesterday All Smiles Card Kit have something special this month.

Introducing Smart Align!!!!!! This card kit raises the game to a higher level. On the Plentiful Petals Die-namcis you can see a poke hole and on the same stamps set you can see Point/Arrow. These two points allowing you to easily line up the flower on the die cut. An incredible idea!!!!

And this is what I created with All Smiles Card Kit

Card Kit Day2

 

First I made the envelope using Gift Card Envelope Die-namics from the last release and Sweet Celebration paper pack. Efter that I stamped flowers with Lemon Chiffon and Coral Crush Premium dye inks and I added details with Zig Real Brush Markers. The leaves I stamped with Spearmint Premium dye ink and Added details with Cracked Pistachio distress ink. I used matching dies and die cut images. The sentiment Smile is from the new All Smiles stamps set.

For the inside of the envelope I used Stitched Rectangle stax Die-namics. I stamped images and sentiment in different colors with Premium Dye inks.

This is my first card showcasing  the new All Smiles card Kit

Card Kit Day 1

I stamped and added details on the flowers and leaves from Plentiful Petals stamps set with distress inks. For details I used my watecolor pen. I also added small dots with White gel pen. The background is splattered with the same colors of distress inks. The rays were added with Radiating Rays stencil. After that I stamped sentiment from All Smiles stamps set and Die-cut word Smile with Double The Smiles Die-namics from the same Card Kit. On the end I added Wink of Stella on flowers and word Smile.

This month, it’s all about GIFT CARDS featuring Blueprints elements. Presenting gift cards in a unique way. MFT Blueprints series includes an abundance of elements that help make your gift card presentation as exciting as its contents. Here is what I came up with:

For my card I used Blueprints 28 Die-namics, Party Like A Pirate stamps set and  You Float My Boat Die-namics. I first drew the islands and the oceans on watercolor paper. Than I colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and with my watercolor pen. I actually colored the same two panels.One is front panel and the other one is background. After that I Die-cut front panel with Blueprints 28. I also stamped and colored images from the set on watercolor paper. Signposts are are marked with red lines and stopping places with anchors. For gift card holders I used arrows from the same Blueprints.

It’s time for MFT’s July Release Replay Challenge when the Creative Team
shares more inspiration and ideas with the latest release. We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present!

July Release Replay

 

 

I decided to use  again new Puppy Pals stamps set. But this time I decided to make my own background paper. I love this technique. Since I could not decide which puppies to use I stamped all images from the stamps set. They are so cute!!! I stamped with black ink on watercolor paper and colored with my alcohol markers. I also added small black dots with black gel pen.
To make something interesting I decided to use Stitch Oval Scallop Edge Frames and black cardstock. The sentiment was white embossed on a black paper. The banner and the heart are from Blueprints 29. I also added white highlights with Sakura Gel Pen.
