I completely agree with the sentiment: “Sometimes we just need someone to love us”. I decided to make a funny scene. She (in my imagination the cat is she)  wants to give a present to him (The dog is he) although she is a bit afraid. So she chose the option to have a safe distance…

MFT Creative Construction With Blueprints Challenge

 

 

Hi everyone! Welcome to this month’s Creative Constructions with Blueprints Challenge. This month, it’s all about featuring Directional Blueprints elements. From obvious arrows to simple tags and banners that include a pointed end.

Maybe it’s too early to tell you Happy New Year but it’s never too early to start preparing cards for our friends and family. And I liked my idea of creating a Shaker card with the clock. The countdown is over and midnight is there. It looks like a frozen clock. Of course new Christmas Cocktails stamps set is perfect for this card!!

MFT October Snowflake Splendor Card Kit Release Day!

 

The new MFT Snowflake Splendor Card Kit is available for purchase in the MFT store now!!!!

 

 

For today’s post I decided to make something different. I made small gift box. You need Kraft card stock, measures are 6×6 inches  and score 1 inch on each size. The dimensions are the same for the box and for the box cover. …And Yes of course … You neeed new MFT CARD KIT and some products from the previous releases. You can find all the products in the Supply list down below

 

 

 

 

I stamped and embossed the whole area before scoring. I used the new stamps set from the Card kit and stamped with VersaMark ink and Embossed with White Detail Embossing powder. For the shaker I used a phenomenal MFT products: Oval Pouches, Oval Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Dashing Deer Stamps set and Die-namics from the October release and some Microbeads. For the beautiful big snowflake in the corner I used new Layered Snowflakes Die-namics from the Kit. I combined white card stock and vellum.

Hello everyone!!

MFT October card kit is simply splendiferous. Snowflakes are an iconic representation of winter but they are also so delicate and beautiful that most crafters love incorporating them into cards. They are versatile enough that they work equally well on bold and modern graphic looks as well as more soft and dainty pastel cards.

And This is what I make for today!!

 

 

First I created background using MFT Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1 and three shades of Distress Oxide inks. I also splashed the entire surface with water and then with Copic Opaque White.

After that I die cut Snowflakes from Vellum using the new Snowflake Splendor Die-namics from the Kit. I taped them one above the other from the largest to the smallest. In the middle I put a drop of Glossy Accent and some Diamond Dust. I just needed something glittery on my card!

On the end I die cut Word Joy with Joy Die-namics and I attached everything to my panel.

This is what I created for Day 1 using Snowflake Splendor Card Kit!!!

 

 

For today’s card I actually made the stencils using the new Layered Snowflakes Die-namics . After that I applied different colors of MFT Premium Dye Inks using mini ink blending tool. I layered different sizes and shapes of stencils one above the other and on that way I got pretty background. Than I die cut Peace word with Peace die-namics from the background. I put three layers of card-stock before I added  word Peace again on the panel. I die-cut panel with Blueprints  27 Die-namics and for the card base I used  MFT Blue Raspberry Card Stock.

Here’s how I was inspired by the new Color Challenge!

 

First I created background panel using Blueprints 27 Die-namics, Watercolor Stripes Background stamp and Wild Honey Oxide ink. For the front panel I used A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and Grateful stamps set. Word Grateful I stamped with MFT Premium Dye inks Blue Breeze and Blueberry. For the Foliage this time I used MFT Premium Dye ink Safety Orange. I stamed two times, first on the background panel and on the front panel using the Misti. On the end I added small dots with Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss English Mustard.

I applied Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink on watercolor paper. After that I stamped with VersaMark ink MFT Whimsical Waves Background stamp and embossed with White Embossing powder. I decided to cut the panel following the wave line. I also die-cut the same panel with Mod Rectangle Stax Die-namics and added some waves made of Vellum. I stamped Narwhal on watercolor paper with Cement Gray and colored with my alcohol markers. The sentiment is white embossed on fishtail strip from Blueprints 31 Die-namics. For my card base I used Summer Splash Card Stock.
