Vilda Stamps-Easterbunny

Hello everyone!

This is Kristina from Kristina’s Art Corner. As always I have two cards to present to you today so come back here later to see another project.  I used  Young Hen from the same stamps set  on my previous project but this time I used Easterbunny.  It is so cute stamps set. Let’s  look together!!!

And this is my project!

Mart (17)

First I stamped Eggs with VersaMark embossing ink on Bristol Smooth card stock and embosed them with white embossing powder! After that with mini ink blending tool I applied three shades of Distress Oxide inks: Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber. With Distress Sprayer I add some water on my background too and I die cut panel with A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1 Die-namics from MFT.

VS march 28

I die cut my tag with Cross-Stitch tag die-namics from MFT and stamped my image with Copic Friendly Extreme Black Ink on Nennah Soler White card stock. For my coloring I used BG11, BG13, BG15 and BG18   /  Y04, Y013, Y19 and YR04  /E00, E000, E13, E21 and E23  /   R20

I also added some highlights with Uni ball White gel pen. On the back of my tag I used Foam tape and some ribbon from my stash on the top of the tag.

I hope you like it and that you will be inspired.

Thank you for stopping by! See you soon! Kristina

Happy Easter!!!

Hello everyone!

Two days before Easter I would like to publish my latest Easter card!

This time focus is on  BB Birthday Chicks from MFT. As you can see all  chickens have birthday hats and I need them without. Nothing easier.. Masking technique when you stamping and scissors to cut a hat on Die cuts!

happy easter

I also have to mention that I am obsessed with tulips from Flamazing stamps set and with other small flowers from the new Love you Furever stamps set!! I would use them for each of my projects. Perfect for Spring and Easter cards!

I stamped all my chicks with Premium dye ink Banana Split and colored them with my Copic Markers. I also added some details with white gel pen. For my flowers I used several different shades of inks: Cranberry Coctail, Pineapple, Pure Plum, Tropical Teal, Summer Splash, Limelight.

To make the scene complete I decided to use MFT Spring SCene Builder die-namics. On the background I applied Salty Ocean for the sky and Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover for the hill and grassy edges. I die cut clouds with Witch Way Is The Candy Die-namics.

The sentiment is from PI Somebunny Sweet stamps set.

My Favorite Things Guest Designer Part 2!

While my last post was all about Easter cards, this time I would like to show you something completely different.
MFT March release offered lots and lots of amazing products and I got tons of inspiration!

Card 1
From the first time I saw this set I knew I will try to make a rodeo boy!
His skills in riding and handling the lasso are well known – thats the way he conquers the lady’s hearts! So, lets get to it!

GDT Bild1

Front panel was cut with A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1. With mini distress tool I added Twisted Citron and Lucky Cloverdistress oxide inks for the grass and Salty Ocean for the sky. On the sky I have added couple of clouds which I cut out with Cloud 9 die-namics.
In the back you can see the Animal Farm Fence cut out from the Kraft cardstock.
All images are from Best in the West stamps set. I stamped them on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Extreme Black hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers.
For the sentiment I used Slanted Sentiments Strips die-namics.

Card 2

For this project I needed little bit more time than usual but it payed off . I must say I am so pleased with the result! At the end ii was double interactive project!
But lets start from the beginning, lets say from the background!
On the background I added Fosilized Amber, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry oxide inks.
The clouds are from the set From Which Way is the Candy since they matched the scene with their shape the best!
On the same background I made spiner and slider parts for the lava and also for pterodactyls!

GDT Bild2.jpg

For the sandy dynes I used Surf and Turf die-namics with Kraft cardstock and to get
more realistic look of a sand I decided to use copics in earth tones using dotting technique but also white gel pen!

Palm trees are from two different sets : Flamazing and Fierce Friends. Delightful dinosaurs has 5 different animals and I had to have the all on my card! I used copics to color them in and decided to make them a bit different color. I also used lots of white gel pen to add details and accents.

GDT Bild3

For the volcano and lava I used Volcano die-namics and Lava You stamp set for the sentiment.
The little pull tab activates smoke and lava. So fun! And also, the smallest circle spinner channels made movement for pterodactyls possible. Of corse I used MFT slider elements.
For creating complete scene I used different types of adhesive – scor tape, foam tape and multi medium matte.

GDT Bild 4.jpg

Card 3

For this card I got inspiration while I created something else with MFT Heart Maze Shape. I was so thrilled with the idea that I left what I was doing and started this card!
My first choice was Dalmatian from Puppy Kisses stamp set. Why you may ask? Whell, he and I are from the same country!
Dalmatians are from Croatia, more precise Dalmatia region, which besides dalmatians has amazing seaside! I was born little bit north from there.

Geography and fun fact class finished!

GDT Bild 5.jpg

To make a labyrinth I used Slider dies from two sets – Surf and Turf and Volcano die-namics.
On the start position is a little dalmatian with slider element which allows him to move trough the maze.
At the end is a bowl of food which is from the Puppy Pals stamp set. In his journey he finds lots of temptations like ball or bone, but just one way is the right way!

GDT Bild6.jpg

Patterned paper is MFT Black and White Stripes while hearths in two different sizes came from Coffe Cup die-namics.
Sentiment itself is embosed with white embossing powder on black cardstock and came from You’re A-maze-ing stamps set.
At the very end I put some glossy accents on the ball and hearths as well.

That would be all for today. I hope I managed to describe the process of making the cards and that you will be inspired and try to do the same.

Once again, I want to thank MFT on this opportunity!
It was a great pleasure to be here today!
Until next time I wish you all lots of inspiration an amazing cards!

Kristina

My Favorite Things Guest Designer!

Hi Everyone!

I am thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to be a guest designer for MFT.
Easter is around the corner and the pile of Easter cards needs to grow so we can share them with family and friends. Thats why I decided to make 4 Easter cards using newest MFT March release,  but included some older products.
So lets dive in!

Card 1
My first card is a shaker card. People are always amazed when they get shaker cards.
I have to say that I love them also! I enjoy the process of making as well as final product.

MFT GDT Card No1

I stamped the cutest bunny from Bubble over with Joy stamp set, colored it with copic markers and then die cut it with coordinating dies.
On white cardstock I have blended several different distress oxide inks and using distress sprayer applied some water. I have used that cardstock to die cut Easter eggs with dies from Somebunny Sweet die set.
For the main panel I decided to use Blueprints 27 and cut out from Kraft cardstock.
On that panel I have used Balloon Shaker Window and Frame die-namics and cut out the shape, and filled balloon shaker pouch with multicolor microbeads.

MFT GDT Card No1-2

For the background in the shaker and also for the Grassy Edges, I used Kraft Collection-Solid Stripes paper pack.
I decided to use couple of clouds from Vulcano die-namics so the scene is complete.
The only thing left to do was to stamp a sentiment.  I have used sentiment from PI Somebunny Sweet and stamped it with Worn Lipstick Oxide ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Card 2
For the second card I have used almost the same products but got completely different look. I just could not resist those cute bunnies from BB Bubble over with Joy stamp set so I have stamped them all and colored them with copics and cut them out with coordinating die-namics.
I was aware that the scene will be little bit busy but I have decided that I have to show those little friends having fun on the Easter morning.

MFT GDT Card No2

Same as before I have cut out Easter eggs with Balloon Shaker Window and Frame die-namics from Farm Fresh Gingham paper pack. Same paper I have used for the Grassy Edges.

The panel itself is cut out with A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set1, and on the very top of the panel I have used my mini distress blending tool and over the Mini Cloud Stencil applied Tumbled Glass distress ink.

After I created the scene I added couple of velum balloons, and decided to use beautiful tulips from Flamazing stamp set,  and stamped them with MFT Dye inks Sour Apple, Daffodil, Razzle Berry and Pure Plum.
It was a perfect spring add-on.

Card 3
This time focus is on a cute little PI girl from Somebunny Sweet stamp set.
She is so cute, I just couldn’t resist! The girl and the eggs were stamped with extreme black ink on Neenah Solar  White cardstock, and than I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with coordinating die-namics.

MFT GDT Card No3.jpg

For the base of the card and the frame I have used new Elegant Rectangle Stax die-namics in two different sizes.
For background and grass I have used Sweet Celebration paper pack while for the frame I have used MFT Lemon Chiffon cardstock. After I have placed colored images on the base where I loved them, I have stamped sentiment directly on the background.

Card 4

Last card for today was a great challenge for me. Thanks to the MFT cross stitched printable I was able to create my own embroidery pattern. It was not easy but I managed to get the cute rabbit!

MFT GDT card No4

For the panel I used Kraft cardstock witch I have cut out with A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1 and then in the middle I used Cross Stitch Tag die-namics. I needed some time to remember embroidery but after that it was hard to stop!

When the shape of a bunny was complete I added a little button as a tail, stamped the sentiment and added couple of flowers on the very bottom for the decoration.
The whole panel was added to a card base made from MFT Bubblegum cardstock with mounting tape for some dimension.

That would be all for today! See you again on the March 28!

Hugs from Sweden!!

Easter card with Vilda Stamps

Hello everyone!!

As usual I will publish two projects today so be sure to come back later on to see the other card. For today I have prepared Easter projects. Easter is behind the corner and it is not bad to have finished cards for friends and family. So let’s get to work!!

For my first card I used Easterbunny and Young hen  (Påskhare och Ungtupp)

http://shop.engstroms.se/vilda-stamps-privat/hogtider/pask/

Vilda Stamps

I stamped my image with  copic friendly black ink and colored with my copic markers. I also colored grass and added cloudy sky with MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Tumbled Glass distress ink. Uni Ball White gel pen for some details on the outfit and for some flowers on the grass. After that I used A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1 from MFT to cut out front panel.

Vilda Stamps 2

I also used MFT Graphic Grid Paper Pack for the second panel. The card base  is made from orange card stock and I added some flowers for finishing touch. And yes, on the end I decided to use My Mind ‘s Eye Pearl stickers for sentiment.

I hope you like it and that you will be inspired.

Thank you for stopping by! See you soon! Kristina

W2CB- Boom / You Did It!!!

W2CB DT Badge.gif

Hello everyone!!

It is time for the new Words 2 Craft By Challenge!!!

https://words2craftby.blogspot.se/

Our inspiration for  March/April challenge:

Quotefancy-2035495-3840x2160

I’m a woman

Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,

That’s me

Maya Angelou

I was inspired by all the strong women who were fighting or who are still fighting for the women’s rights around the world. Sweden is an advanced European country where women are still less paid than men for the same job. I think that’s the case in most countries, but I will not argue because I do not have reliable information. I would love to have more women in politics because the future would surely look much brighter and better.

boom

For my background I used Ranger Watercolor paper and A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Set1. I drew the Moon and the shapes on the Earth, but for the Earth itself I used Circle from Blueprints 6. I also used Masking paper when I applied Black Soot distress oxide ink with mini ink blending tool. On the background I added some stars from Silver Sparkle Cardstock and Copic opaque white.

The Super Hero Girl is from MFT BB You’re Super stamps set. I stamped her on Neenah Solar White paper, colored her with Copics and die cut her with coordinating die. I added some spotlight with Uni Ball White gel pen. The Moon and Earth I colored with Zig Real Brush Markers.

Zig:

031-Cobalt Blue, 032- Persian Blue, 091-Light Gray and 092-Blue Gray

Copics:

Life Is Meant To Be Enjoyed

Hello Everyone!!

Here I am finally!! I’m sorry but I have to admit that I’m really struggling with inspiration and I completely lost my motivation. Carmaking is a way of life , part of my everyday life and of course some changes in that part of my life affect my inspiration. Maybe I should not have allowed that to happen but without a passion hobby would never bring success. For some people, this is business while for me is the pleasure, love, passion, learning, practicing, and at the end  huge happiness when you get the perfect result.

But let’s get back to work. Without a lot of words, I want to present you my latest spinner card inspired by a holiday on the beach. The beach in the middle of the winter ???  We actually bought air tickets and booked a hotel for our vacation in Greece – Crete- Chania. I can not wait!! All supplies you can find in my supply list down below!
