Hello everyone!!
I’m back again with new project! Can you believe this is my first project with Lip Balm Window and Frame Die-namics. I have this die and coordinating pouch 1 year and this is my first project. The reason I did not use it was quite simple. I could not find lip balm with the appropriate size. Different standards for Europe and USA again, I guess. Today’s Lip Balm is also a bit bigger (visible on the background) but I decided to use! Do you European citizens have the same problems and which lip balm you use??
For my background I used on of patterned paper from Echo Park Celebrate Christmas paper pad but I changed it a bit. There were actually red berries but mistletoe always has white berries. And I used white gel pen and colored red berries on patterned paper. After that I die cut panel with Blueprints 27.
On the top of the panel I used Lip Blam Window and frame Die-namics and die cut the opening. I also used red card stock and Stitched Window Panel from Blueprints 27. From the same card stock I die cut the frame for opening too.
For my Mistletoe I used Fab Foliage and die cut three times the same shape. I colored with my Copic Markers G20, G21 and G24. On the top I added some pearls. For my sentiment I used Sending Smooches Stamps set and stamped Merry Kiss-Mas with VersaMark clear ink and embossed with Detail White Embossing powder. I also used some decorative ribbon from my stash.
On the inside of the card I used Essential Sentiment RIP Stripes Die-namics. I wanted to recipient can easier open and take the lip balm without destroying whole card. With small stamp from the Interactive Labels stamps set I stamped end embossed word Rip on Heart die cut from Blueprints 27.
I hope you like it!!
Until next time!
Kristina

You’ve just reminded me that I’ve got this die set too and should be using it on some of my Christmas cards!! I know what you mean about the sizes, I had to be careful and took one of the clear, plastic moulds with me to the store to make sure the lip balms would fit. Your card is fantastic and the colour palette suits our challenge photo perfectly. Especially love the little bow and mistletoe. I’m so very happy to see you at TIME OUT!!

Wow, this is absolutely amazing! I love the patterned paper you used and all the small details… And what a fab idea to include that lipbalm into the card design! I bet the recipient does not want to take it away from the card because this looks so pretty! 🙂 Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT!
