About World Space Week
The largest space event on Earth, UN-declared World Space Week is celebrated October 4-10 annually. It is an international celebration of the contribution of space science and technology to the betterment of the human condition. World Space Week consists of a myriad of space-related events held by space agencies, aerospace companies, schools, planetaria, museums, and astronomy clubs in a common timeframe to achieve greater student and public impact through synchronization.

Since its United Nations declaration in 1999, World Space Week has grown into the largest public space event on Earth. More than 3,700 events in 80 countries celebrated the benefits of space and excitement about space exploration in 2017.  The 2018 theme is “Space Unites The World” and 2019 theme “The Moon:  Gateway to the Stars.”

I have to say that I am very grateful to Milka Gubo who organized this blog hop and invited me to be part of this wonderful event.

Let’s take a look at what I created for you today!!!!

I stamped image from MFT Space Explorer stamps set with  Copic friendly black ink and colored with my Copic markers. After that I die cut the image with coordinating die. I also added some details on my colroing with Uni Ball White gel pen and Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter pen.

For my background I applied Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Saphire and Black Soot Distress ink with mini ink blending tool on Bristol Smooth paper. The next step was to spray the water on the entire surface with Ranger Distress sprayer. I also added some stars with Copic Opaque white and small brush.

For the planets I actually used the stickers. I bought those stickers in one Greek hobby shop when I was on vacation.  Planets in the set are so realistic and beautiful. I combine on my card two with the same colors and texture.

The stars I die cut from MFT Silver Sparkle Card stock with Blueprints 6 Tag Builders Die-namics. My panel is die cut with MFT A2 stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1.

On the end I decided to add spaceman on the Action wobble and he is ready to explore.

Sentiment is from the same set and I stamped with VersaMark Clear ink and Embossed with Tsukineko Silver embossing powder. After that I die cut sentiment  with Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-namics and added on panel with Foam tape.

Card base is made from MFT Black Licorice card stock.
