Cross-Stitch Project

Hello everyone!

It is time to publish a mega big project that I finished long ago. This was actually a birthday present for my mother-in-law. This is approximately 25 x 17.5 cm big project (10×7 inches). I found this big embrodery board in one Danish store here in Sweden. The Embroidery thread also come from the same Danish store.

I used MFT Printable Resources with Floral Patern. On the end I decided to add 3 butterflies from MFT Beautiful Butterflies stamps set. I stamped them with MFT Premium Dye ink Periwinkle, Boysenberry and Eggplant and die cut them out with matching dies. For a bit more dimension I die cut same buterrflies 4 times from the velum and with Foam tape I added them back. For the trails I used Nuvo Crystal Drops Violet Galaxy.

I have to tell you that my mother-in-law was delighted and now this project is framed.

Thank you for stopping by!

Oh, my goodness, Tina, this must’ve taken you quite some time to finish; no wonder it was so appreciated! I love the bright cheery colours and how you’ve layered the butterflies too. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at the Penny Black and More challenge.

WOW!!! What a labor of love and well worth every single moment it took to create this card. I’m so tickled for you that your mil framed the piece. Definitely worth it! Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂

Such an awesome job. I used to crochet many years ago. You did wonderfully with this card. We are truly blessed that you joined our Challenge earlier this month at Word Art Wednesday. There’s still time to join our current Challenge and we’d love to see back. Leaving you with the inspiration of God’s Word found in Isaiah 43:10 which says, “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.” Have a great day!
