Happy Birthday My Prickly Friend!!

Hello MFT fans!!

I’ve been very busy the last few days!! I designed a few cards for different challenges and I  challenged myself too. For the first time I tried coloring when the light comes from behind. I have to admit that was a big challenge for me. Where the shadows are?… Where the light is strongest?I’m not an artist as you know.. Please, write a comment and tell me what you think about my first attempt. Bad, not bad, could be better or  it is good. I really want to know.

And again I have to say  big  THANK YOU Laina Lamb (Laina Lamb Design). Thanks a lot for the opportunity to work with your products dear Laina. And big thanks to MFT too. My Favorite things is the best company !!!

This looks awesome! I love how you did the background and the scene you created. When you do the distress background, what kind of motion do you use with the sponges? I keep getting large circles on my paper which may or may not work out. Any suggestions?

Thank you dear Barbara.Small Circular motion is the best but I Think the paper is important.I Always use aquarell paper and repeat the process until I’m satisfied with the ink blending. Maybe three times!!
